31 Days Challenge Day 4 - Pink

Today's mani is very special to me. Michal, my niece just celebrated her 3rd birthday and I wanted to do a special mani of an animated figure she really loves. 

Michal in her behaviour reminds me so much of another amazing lady: Silver Anderson, the lady behind the blogs The Silverinator and Fresh Food Diva. Both Michal and Silver have the sort of personality that illuminate the room with their presence. They both have the craziest but most clever sense of humor and they both make you want to reflect their mood despite of yourself: When they are sad - you want to cry; When they are happy - you can't stop smiling. They also both  love the same animated figure.

So I am dedicating this mani of the New 31 Days Challenge to Michal and Silver ♥

I started this mani with The Nail Junkie - Matte Rose, a beautiful pastel rose with a velvet matte finish. As usually - perfect formula, self leveling and quick dry polish that is opaque in two easy coats.

I added some pink stripes using my striper brush and Model's Own Pastel Pink, and some darker pink dots using my dotting tool and Wet n'Wild - How I Met Your Magenta. Then I freehand-drew little kitty on both my thumb and ring nail. I usually am not trying too hard to show my thumb in the pictures but for some reason, the Kitty on my thumb turned out better then the Kitty on my ring.

Even though I am personally not much of a Hello Kitty fan, I really like this mani and I think it turned out real cute. What do you think?
