Sea Lore Andrina

This is not the first time I am wearing this beauty, although I have only recently received it. But I knew I was going to get a new lens for my camera and I decided to wait with my post until it gets here. This means, by the way, that you can click on the pictures of Andrina to see them at about twice the size they appear here! So without further ado let me display the glorious Andrina by Sea Lore to you!

Andrina is a beautiful sheer purple gelly base with tons of purple hexs in different sizes and lot's of purple shimmer. It is very easy to apply and there's no need to go hunting for the glitter. Every stoke of the brush has so much of it already! What you see on my nails here is only one simple coat of Andrina over BarryM Jelly Prickly Pear. Let me show you some BarryM Prickly Pear swatches first.

I am having serious difficulties understanding this name for such a pretty lilac jelly. The Prickly Pear fruit is green and yellow. Sometimes is can even be red. But purple? I have never seen a purple Prickly Pear. To be honest, I am also having issues with the "Jelly" part. I mean - jelly this opaque? Where's the jelly then? In my opinion this is a lot more Creme Brulee then any jelly. But who am I to say anything when this perfect shade of purple stands before me?  These are two coats of Prickly Pear with no top. I topped it only with the pretty Adrina and I thought this was more then enough. No top coat over Andrina as well!

In this last picture I added another coat of Andrina but again - no top coat! Notice how flat the glitter lays on the nail. There is absolutely no curling issues! All the little sides that look like the turn up are only light reflection. You can see in the close up picture how perfectly flat everything is. And this is WITHOUT any top coat! In my opinion Andrina is one beautiful polish that I will surely wear tons!
