Different Dimension

TGIF!!! I actually was not sure Friday would arrive this week but I am so happy to realize it did, and with some amazing nail mail! (Which reminds me that I haven't done any haul posts lately... Oh well) . Well, I better show you my mani final before the entire story goes on ;-)

So all of these colors were in my mail! But I could smell my package all the way to the post office door. And you know... this only means one thing: Something broke :-(
I anxiously opened the envelope and I saw it immediately - everything was covered in polish and melted plastic. No doubt some bottles broke. I used an empty nylon bag as a glove and I started pulling the bottles out. After pulling out everything I realized it was only one bottle that broke. Phew! I threw all the messy stuff away and took my new babies home. The bottle that broke had a dark blue polish in it, so in its honor I decided to use the light blue polish first. SO this is Homeboy by Different Dimension.

Homeboy is a bright deep neon blue filled with scattered holographic polish. It has such a gorgeous color, a wonderful formula and it is opaque in just two easy coats. One of the most amazing thing about this polish is the bright color that is getting the rich texture feel of a scattered holo polish, without making it look grey like most holographic polishes. Homeboy is part of Different Dimension's 80's Baby collection, an entire collection of neon holographic polishes. What can be more fun for the summer then neon and holographic?

This beautiful color all glittering and glistening made me think of the cool water of the ocean and that reminded me of this stunninng nail art design made by the amazing Sarah of Chalkboard Nails. So I decided to give it a try. I started with my favorite black polish - Black Sheep by Julie G and my smallest nail art brush. After painting the outlines, I filled most of the areas with some very thin coat of Julie G's White Orchid. And then the fun began: I just painted over the white with the different polishes from Different Dimension's 80's Baby collection!

By the way, if you couldn't recognize the green blob with the orange hair on my middle finger - that's suppose to be a sea cucumber... LOL. Well just look at these colors. Aren't they yummm?
Oh and just so you will know - Missi of Different Dimension offered to replace my broken bottle! I didn't even think she would, but she did!!! So I can tell you she also has some awesome customer service! But do make sure you take a picture of the broken bottle ;-)

These are the polishes I used in my nail art: Different Dimension 80's Baby collection: Ditz, Tubular, Totally, Gnarly, Homeboy and Whatever. I also used Wide Awake that is from Different Dimension's Set It Free collection.
