Morning, Moneypenny - OPI Magnetics

Do you know that feeling, when you just dislike something without a reason? The logic says everything is cool about it! You should like it a lot! but the guts just won't listen? This is the sort of relationship I have with OPI. I can't explain it. I have no logically reason. They are good quality, they have great brush, great colors, usually good formula... They are just as hard to get here as China Glaze and they are just as expensive (here!) So why can't I stand them?
Anyway, today I have an OPI polish to show you. It's from the recent James Bond collection and it's magnetic. This is OPI - Morning Moneypenny.

Morning, Moneypenny is a rich, beautiful plum color with lot's of holographic micro glitter. It has the most wonderful formula, it is very pigmented and opaque in two easy coats. Drying time is also neat. If you apply a thin coat - it dries in seconds. If you apply a thick coat to use the magnet with, it takes a longer time so you will be able to get your magnet pattern nice and calmly. It really is so pretty. You can see for yourself! So why can't I stand this polish? What's bothering me so much? UGH!

Anyway, the magnet is not any better then any other type. For those with curved nails (like myself) it only works at the top middle of the nail. This is why I chose this magnet pattern, which actually belongs to another OPI polish from the same collection - Bond... James Bond. As you can see, the middle area of my nail actually turned out pretty neat. Except of course for my middle finger, which did turn out nice but I managed to smear it.

Maybe if I use those more, I will start to like them? Maybe if they become cruelty free? Or cheaper? I don't know... For now, all pictures show 2 coats and no top coat. You can see the slight grittiness of the micro glitters in the close up pictures..

So what do you think? Do you have OPI Morning, Moneypenny? Do you plan on geting it? Do you have any idea why I dislike it so or how I can change that? ;-)

I think it's a pretty colour but I'm not really feeling magnetics at the moment.

Ohh those swatches are great, but I'm not sold. I guess it's the mixing of blue and red, me dislike... So it seems we're both looking away this time!

I like it, but I think I would like it better without the magnetics affect. :-)
