Go Pink Wednesday!

So it's Wednesday again, when we show our love to those who fight breast Cancer. This is the 4th week of October and we still have one more to go. You can read all the details about it here, on the wonderful Andrea from Finger Painting Fingers's blog.

So today I have a gorgeous pink polish to show you, that I have received from my friend Gosia at Life In Color! This is Finger Paints - Color Inside The LinesIt is a gorgeous Fuchsia with pink-purple shimmer. It applies like a dream and is so beautiful on the nail that I totally don't mine the little brush strokes. In two coats it is not completely opaque but again... I am not really bothered. i might look very "simple" in the pictures but trust me - it is so beautiful! And it is, in my opinion, a grown-up pink. Not your common girlie polish.

Since i've been a bit... tired in this last week, i decided that today I have to do some nail art. So I picked my stripping tape and tried to decide what to go with. I started with just plain diagonal lines and all of a sudden I found myself with this:
The dark pink is Nfu-Oh FS11. The light pink is China Glaze Dance Baby and the white is Milani White on the Spot. To be honest I really don't know how I ended up with this, because I really planned to keep Color Inside The Lines very visible! But somehow... I don't know. I think I need to stop doing my nails so late at night... Besides, this turned out so boring that I couldn't stop yawning. So I reached for my lovely DRK-A plate and did some stamping using Kleancolor Metallic Pink. Those metallics are really great for stamping but they stain the stamper badly :-( So annoying...
