Blogger Collaboration - My Most Expensive and Least Expensive Polishes

So today's collaboration post is all about our most expensive and least expensive polishes.
At first I thought my most expensive polish was a Dior, but then I realized it was not... Yes, I paid more on a China Glaze polish then I would on a Dior. BUT - I do have something to say in my defense: I got the entire China Glaze OMG collection, except this one single polish - L8r G8r. A couple of days after I got the collection (and it is amazing!) I saw an eBay sale of the one polish I was missing, and... well... I couldn't let it go. For a while it was still a very reasonable price. But about 10 minutes before the sale ended, a couple of people decided to bid on it and the sale ended with me winning it for the ridiculous price of $42. But hell... I had it on my finger tips! I just had to have it! So here is my most expensive polish of my stash: China Glaze - L8R G8R.

Do I really need to say something about this polish? I mean, let's assume for a second that application is hard, formula is horrible and drying time is 7 hours. If you saw it now in a reasonable price, you would really leave it there? I suppose 95% of the people would say no. And of the 5% who would say yes, most are lying. Right? But anyway, L8R G8R is the green sibling of the OMG collection. In my opinion it is not very green. But what ever color it is - I like it. Formula is a little bit runny and requires care when applying but the second coat is completely self leveling and this is what you see in all the pictures. Drying time is I think less then 7 seconds and the rest - well, you can see for yourself.

And now to the cheapest polish in my stash. We don't have any $0.99 polishes in Israel. The cheapest polish is about $2, and I don't even have one of those. I could show you one of the Sinful Colors I have, but I got them all from friends in the US, and therefore they have a high sentimental value. I can't present any of those as "the cheapest". So I will show you another polish I got in my recent trip to Russia. This is also an Eveline polish, but it is not holo. It is number 395 from the 3D Prism collection. Since it's the only one I saw of this collection, I have no idea what the entire collection is all about. But I think that this polish is really gorgeous. It costed 45 Rubles, which is around $1.5. It is orange creme with tons of gold shimmer or is it micro glitter? I could never tell. It applies very easy and if you use a thick coat, one coat is enough. I used two medium - thin coats and no top coat. I think I like the way it turned in the pictures but I can tell you that it is much much nicer in person!

Love the China glaze its gorgeous! Crazy when you miss out on polishes and could have gotten them much cheaper.
I love that Orange as well.
I tried to think of my most expensive and I think its 8.50 lol is that sad or what! And other than my sinful colors being the cheapest I have tons of China glaze that I got for 1.50 or 1.65. I get them so cheap because they go on clearance so fast since China glaze always releases new collections. They only keep one collection in at a time. I save so much money that way.
Actually now that I think about it my cheapest is a wet n wild called Give Me A Price Quote. For 74 cents.

It just goes to show that cheaper price doesn't mean lesser quality. I love that orange polish!... Do I even need to tell you that I am drooling over L8r G8r? :)

The things we do to get what we love!! I love them both and even though I wouldn't pay $42 for a polish, it is STUNNING!

OMG!!! I didn't even pay that much for my OMG and it was my biggest lemming!! Lol. I hate to admit, I would have probably done what you did, though, if it was the one I was lacking to complete my collection. I only have three from the OMG collection, but they are amazing polishes and "worth it" in my book. I also love your "cheapest" polish. Some of my most favorites are cheapies. I think it's really cool when you don't have to spend a lot of $ to get a polish you really love.
