Today's mani comes with a sort of mini tutorial. Not that its too clever or anything, but I figured I will show you the order in which I did things. So here's my 4th entry in the 33DC: Tribal.

I kind of like the splatter manis I see around. There's something real fun about them. But until now i wasn't able to produce one that was as fun. I don't know why. It just never worked for me. Until now. So what happened you ask? Keep reading after the break.

I made it! I actually completed the Where In The World challenge and I am here with the last entry: Romania! YAY! 

Ok, first thing's first: I will (finally) update my challenge page with the links to all the entries. And as for today's entry... well, it was obvious that I would go with the vampiric side of Romania. I'm part romanian and I love everything and anything vampires so it was just a question of how I decide to present it. And I decided to be somewhat unique after all.

I like this challenge's pace. I can breath every other day and plan my next entry. Much easier then last year's 30 Days challenge where I had to create an entry daily. Although I might do that one again later. Anyway, today's entry in the 33DC is Tape mani, which also turned to be one of my favorite techniques, so do be warned - you will see lot's of tape manis in this challenge. But today's is a very simple one.

Oh my... I totally forgot to tell you yesterday, but I was a guest at Smashley Sparkles!
Ashley (Smashley) is on vacation so I created a mani especially for her to post during this time. Personally - I love it and I am hoping very much that you will too.

Today is this month's last entry in The Crumpet's Tri Polish Challenge. As you may remember, the colors are Lilac, Pink and Blue, and the polishes I chose are Elevation Polish Tavan Bogd, China Glaze - Pink-IE Promise and Mentality - Scalawag. 

Day number two in The 33DC asks for my most used polish. This is an easy one. My most used polish is The Nail Junkie - Shimmer Jelly Watermelon. So I went with a jelly sandwich that features this polish in today's mani.

I almost completed the Where In The World challenge, and already I am starting a new one. I like those challenges. I anyway change my polish every day, so why not having a themed ideas for it? Anyway, thanks to Gosia, I decided to try The Crumpet's 33DC. (click the link for all the technicalities) and we begin day number one with Dots. 

I'm always saving the best for last. After showing you Zebra and Lady Bug, the new additions to The Nail Junkie's Animal Collection, today I would like to show you the last of them: Peacock.* Warning - A LOT of photos ahead!

Yesterday I showed you Zebra, one of the three new additions to The Nail Junkie's Animal Collection. So today I will show you addition number two - Lady Bug. A gorgeous red jelly with awesome black dots. 

Today I would like to show you a new polish by The Nail Junkie called Zebra.  It is a new addition to her Animal Collection and it is a white base with black bar glitter. Zebra.

So hard to believe that I really made it this far, but I did! Today in the Where In The World challenge I am taking you to Brazil, the land of Football and Carnival. Ok, ok, you weird Americans, Soccer. Soccer and Carnival  ;-)   Sadly, I could not come up with any Carnival design for my nails, so I went with Soccer and Brasilia instead.

A couple of days ago I showed you my "Almost entry" for The Crumpet's Tri Polish Challenge. Today is the day I need to show you the real entry. The colors for September are Lilac, Pink and Blue and the polishes I picked are Elevation Polish Tavan Bogd, China Glaze - Pink-IE Promise and Mentality - Scalawag.

It's no secret that my most favorite color is Orange. However, it somehow seems that I hardly ever wear it on my nails! That is indeed weird because my orange polish drawer is the second largest in my stash (after the inevitable blue). So today I will show you two orange polishes. L'Oreal #303 and Sea Lore Attina.

If you have been following me a while, you would know that I play along in The Crumpet's Tri Polish Challenge every month. And the month of September requires the combo Lilac, Pink and Blue. So I picked my polishes and created this entry and then realized that I already used two of the colors in previous months' entries. So I re-picked my polishes for the challenge and you get to see this entry out side of the regular monthly challenge posts.

So yesterday I showed you my guest post at The Mani Logues, in honor of Casandra's new baby girl. But that was only my second attempt, because my first attempt at that mani ended as a fail. I didn't think of posting it at first, but then I figured we can both learn from it.

CONGRATULATIONS to Casandra of The Mani-Logues for the birth of Isla, her second baby girl! May she answer all your hopes and dreams and be a wonderful sister to Princess Violet! A couple of months ago I won a nail art contest at Jen's Nail Files facebook page and the prize was a LE polish by Darling Diva called Denim Mitten, that was made especially for that contest. By the time I received the polish, I had some serious personal issues to deal with, and somehow I never got to trying it. So here I am trying it now - and with great content I must add! 

I'm getting really close the end of the Where In The World Challenge! Can you believe it? Anyway, today is very exotic and I'll take you to Madagascar. This little island, well - not too little. It is the 4th largest island in the world, but still - is very high on my bucket list. I will have to be there soon! It looks like such an interesting place with so many animals and plants that only live there... Amazing! Anyway, for my mani today I chose some cultural inspiration.

I am trying over and over and I just can't seem to nail this One Stroke technique. Well, I will keep on trying, but for now, here's a very very simple mani using this technique in its most basic form...

I really like it when people decide to purge some of their polishes. And I am even happier when those people are true collectors with excellent taste in polish! This is how I managed to put my hands on these two beauties: China Glaze Techno Teal (from the Tronica Collection) and with it a true legend - Nail Venturous Lacquer Well Holo There! 

You might remember my Guest Post at Raggio di Luna blog last week. I did this water marble using 3 shades of blue Elevation Polish: Dykh-Tau, Pic De Sotllo, and Higravstinden (aka Hig). I already swatched the first two in my blog (linked from the names above), so I figured it was time I swatched Hig as well.

Today in the Where In The World Challenge I'm taking you to China. When I think of China, the only thing that comes into my mind is a big golden dragon over a hot red background. And I went with this image in this challenge too. So while my mani isn't extremely original or unique, the polish I used as my base - is very special and unique! 

Happy New Year to all my Jewish readers! (and happy, wonderful weekend to everyone else ;-) Since today is the new year's day in the Jewish calendar I decided to do a mani with the symbols of the holiday: Honey, Apple, Pomegranate and some more honey.

Yesterday I showed you the first polish of three that I received in my Bondi New York subscription box. Today I would like to show you the second. This is Uptown Girl.

Have you heard of the new Bondi Box yet? Did you know that they offer international shipping! YAY! Well, just for that I had to subscribed! Like DUH?! But actually, I really do love their polishes. They are totally awesome! You really should try them if you haven't already!

So in my very first box I got 3 full size polishes and a full size top coat. Or actually, it is all in one coat, but that's something for another post. Today I will show you the first of the three  polishes - Strawberry Fields.

So this is the new month's first post and I have some adult fun nail design for you today. Why adult? I dunno. This is how I feel about it. It's colorful but also black & White; It's fun but its also serious. So to me this is what adulthood means.
