Many of you know by now that I make some thermal color changing polishes. So when I heard that Nfu Oh were releasing their thermal collection too - I had to try it. So today I have one of those thermal polishes: SECE #11 (When will you move to meaningful names already???)
Another minus of this polish is the weak pigmentation. Yes, it is opaque in two coats, but that is mostly thank to the glitter in this polish. The colors feel weak and watery. Not as rich as I expected them to be.
Formula-wise I have no complaints. It is smooth and easy to work with. And as you can see, the color changing effect is also very clear and prominent. When cold, this polish is a plum purple with silvery glitter. And when in touch with body heat, it changes to medium blue. Take a look at my close-up photo to see the sort of glitter in this polish.
And just because I get so bored of plain swatches, I had to scribble some on this mani. I used Orly Instant Artist stripers in Grape and Blue J to do this mani, and I kept making sure that the tips of my nails are cold. Oh well, at least that did not bore me ;-) But if I have to be honest, I am very disappointed with those polishes. And while it is not quite politically correct and I am sure I am not very objective on that, I like my own polishes better...
