When Stars Collide with Gold

I know the China Glaze Hologlams are old news but today I decided to show you one of them, which happens to be my personal favorite. Say hello to China Glaze - When Stars Collide.

When Stars Collide is a gorgeous deep plum holographic polish. It applies easily and smoothly, especially considering the fact that it's a very strong holographic polish. Those usually have some streaking issues, but I had none of those with this one. It is very pigmented and completely opaque in two easy coats and I love this deep, juicy color of it so much.

One of my most favorite color combinations is plum and gold together. So I collided this lovely China Glaze polish with Nfu Oh XW10, a bright, shimmery yellow gold. I only used one coat of the gold and as you can see - it is not enough for opacity, but for me it was enough. On it I painted When Stars Collide, leaving just the golden triangle. I admit I am having some difficulties decide which of the manis I like better - with or without the gold, but either way I keep staring at my nails all day long...

I hope you like this mani or at least this China Glaze polish. It's been a little while since I posted a mainstream brand polish, isn't it? :-)

So pretty!! Your nails are so long! They look thick and strong too! I have stubs I would probably break them if they were long because I am clumsy.

When Stars Collide is really beautiful, I think I could wear it just like it is on my nails... and you know that I hardly resist to add some nail art on my nail polishes :-)
