NailNation 3000 - No DUH!

Good evening! Are you enjoying your Friday? Are you doing anything exciting you can recommend? Climbing the Everest maybe? Haha, I kill me sometimes! But seriously, do you check on Gosia from time to time? She's suppose to be on her second rotation now, which means that pretty soon she will be getting to the summit, if weather permits! I am too excited for her! And in our last conversation she did ask me to wear an orange polish. So I decided to listen (for a change) and actually do it. However, this didn't end quite as I expected it to...
NailNation 3000 No DUH Elevation Polish Toubkal
So I started with No DUH!!!,  this amazingly gorgeous orange - coral holographic polish with lots of golden and holographic shimmer that I got as a free gift with my recent purchase from NailNations 3000. This is the kind of polish that you look at the bottle and say - yeah, it's nice. But when you apply it to your nails it's a total WOW from the first coat! In fact, if you have short nails, most likely you won't even need a second coat of this polish! It is so amazingly pretty! I did use two coats but just to make sure there is absolutely no visible nail line anywhere. It wasn't really that necessary! Formula is wonderful and smooth and completely self leveling, it dries pretty quick and when added one coat of top coat (I use Glisten And Glow HK Girl Fast Dry Top Coat) it just comes to life in full burst of fun and color.

Well, to be honest, I guess I owe an apology to NailNation 3000. A while ago I was talking about this brand with some friends and I was very annoyed at the high price for the small bottle. ($13 for a 10ml bottle) I didn't think it was very just and I decided I won't buy anything of this brand until the price goes down. Oh how I was wrong! I am totally eating my hat right now! Those polishes are so much worth their price! Not to mention the amazingly kind customer service and all the free goodies I got with my order! And after all, while I would pay more then that for a Dior (or a Rescue Beauty Lounge for that matter) I have to keep in mind that Dior are producing in hundred of thousand bottles! And NailNation does not have the same abilities but is definitely most compatible in her quality.
So I say it here out loud: I am sorry NailNation 3000 for ever doubting you. Your polishes are brilliant. Nothing less. And you have a wonderful customer service and I totally support indie polish brands and you are certainly no exception!  And you, my dear readers, just look at those photos and drool.

After a while of wearing this polish I decided to add something fun to it. I "stole" the idea from NailNation3000 photo album and I french-tipped my nail tips with Elevation Polish Toubkal, a gorgeous dark berry-wine color with lits of golden shimmer. I thought these two colors look simply gorgeous together. Well, tell me yourself, aren't they?

Sadly, this day ended with a terrible tragedy when my cat got scared of something and jumped on my desk, and pushed my bottle of No DUH!!! who smashed on the floor. Well, this tragedy could have been worse really. Luckily I could just buy another bottle! So I am no longer grieving my loss. But if you need a summer fun color, make sure you check NailNation 3000's on-line Store! Also, make sure you follow her on Facebook and on YouTube to get all the most recent updates!

Gorgeous! I'm so sorry to hear that your floor got to wear the pretty color though. I would be tempted to leave it there (but clean up the glass of course) and call it art! ;P
