Where In The World - South Africa

I shamefully have to admit that yes, I have forgotten about this challenge already... I guess I do operate better under time pressure. But here we go again: back to the Where In The World Challenge, and this time we go to South Africa!
Liquidus Sunstone

So when I think of South Africa, the first thing that comes to my mind is Elephants. I don't know why, but all
I can think of is Elephants. So no wonder I went with this theme in my mani today.

I started with SunStone by Liquidus, a very light golden shimmery polish with hints of pink. This polish is quite sheer and to get full opacity it needs at least 3 coats. But I did two and figured it was enough.

I then sponged some gradient onto it, using Orange Slush by QRS and a shimmery red brown polish by Life (a local brand) that I can't remember it's number at the moment. On top of that, I sponged a little bit of Nfu Oh glitter polish XW06 (that you can also see here). I thought my gradient was too harsh so I sponged a lot of Liquidus Sunstone on it after it was dry, to make it very subtle.

I saw this mani by Laurie at Dressed Up Digits and I knew I needed those amazing trees. So I stamped them using my black Konad polish and Red Angel plate number 115. I also added a little tiger-cat on my pinky from MoYou plate number 65 and the birds from DRK C plate. The elephant I free-handed. Not the best maybe but I am Ok with this outcome. I did however realized that I have no Elephant stamp pattern. Sadness. The black on my tips is China Glaze Liquid Leather.
