Give Green A Chance: Leprechaun by The Nail Junkie

So if you have been following me a little, you would know that me and green are not in peace. True, we had worse times, but still I think we need to do something to become friends again.
It all started with me hating green. Then came sweet Yun (The Polish Hideout) with her amazing swatch of Zoya Holly. A brick fell off my wall... With time I began to find more and more greens that I don't hate or even like or even - god forbid - love. me?! Green?! Yes.
So I have decided that it's time me and green sign a peace contract, and what better time is there then the week before St. Patrick's Day with its Irish green shamrock. So this week I plan to make only green manis. I hope I can actually stand to it, but I certainly am going to try! So lets get on to the polish!
The Nail Junkie Leprechaun
I'm starting easy with one of my favorite brands - The Nail Junkie - and her Leprechaun polish from St. Patrick's Day collection. Leprechaun is a satin white base stuffed with green and gold micro glitter. It has a perfect formula and super fast drying time. It is completely opaque in two easy coats and despite the amount of glitter in it, it is totally NOT top-coat hungry. What you see are two coats of Leprechaun and one coat of HK Girl top coat by Glisten & Glow.

I then added some french tips using Life (a local brand) number 301 - a sour apple green creme.  I tried to edge the tips with Orly's Crisp White striper but I am sorry to say it turned thicker then I really intended. Oh well...  I added a tiny 4 leaf clover using Pupa number 729 and some stencils stickers. I topped it all with another coat of HK Girl Top Coat and that's it. I have to admit I'm in peace with this mani.
