So January is over and so is the New 31 Days Challenge and until I decide on my next challenge, I have quite a few things to show you. And as February begins, I think it's the perfect time to show you The V-Day Line by The Nail Junkie.
The Nail Junkie has released this wonderful new trio polishes for Valentines day. The trio consists of
Love Letter - A romantic mix of square glitter in pink, white and red with fine black hex and bar glitter in a clear base.
Bouquet - a deep pink with purple undertone and lot's of multi colored fine glitter.
Cupcake - Fun dots (circle glitter) in red, pink and purple all in a clear, extremely shimmery base.
So I started with Bouquet, which was actually opaque in one coat only! It was also very self leveling and had the most perfect formula. Then I decided to add another coat of it, just because I felt it deepened the color. Bouquet dried pretty quick and had a matte finish, a little bit gritty because of all the small glitter. But one coat of Seche Vite Top Coat and it became all shiny and sparkly. I then added some of the Cupcake polish on my ring nail as an accent. I didn't want to add Love Letter to this mani because I think it is so unique and thus deserves another post of it's own. Instead, I used a special Valentine's day polish that I received as a surprise gift from my friend Aleta at The Nail Junkie. This special polish is made with lot's of white, pink and red tiny heart glitter in a clear base with tons of red micro glitter/ shimmer. I really loved the end result of this mani and I received lots and lots of compliments about it. It is so pretty and so girly but not in a childish way. And it attracts everyone's attention!
So what do you think of the V-Day Line? Do you have it? Which is your favorite? And what are your plans for a valentine's day mani?
