I still owe you my last 3 entries for the 33DC, and I am not going to leave them aside! let's begin with the 31st entry, where I'm suppose to feature my three favorite polishes.Picking my three favorite polishes was not an easy task. My favorites tend to change according to my mood and with almost every new purchase that I make. I do have that one favorite polish that I always go to, from the second I saw it on my nails. The one polish that I would take to a deserted island with me. This polish is The Nail Junkie - Jelly Shimmer Watermelon. This delicious neon orange-red polish is by far my most favorite and most used polish among the 2,000 polishes in my stash. (links lead to different manicures where I used this polish) But which two other polishes? So I went with the ones I currently go to when I need some "pick me up" manicure.
I started with two coats of Zoya Jacqueline, a soft off-white creme, and I stamped some random text on it using Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie 2.0. I specifically chose that polish because of it's golden tones, because I didn't want the text to be too contrasted with the soft off-white base. I used Bundle Monster's plate BM-311 and Vivid Lacquer plate VL005. Then I stamped the roses using MoYou plate Kitty Collection 02 and a white Konad special polish, because I knew I needed some base if I wanted to have my roses in Jelly Shimmer Watermelon. So over the white stamp I drew the roses using The Nail Junkie Shimmer Jelly Watermelon for the flowers and Darling Diva Polish Sashay Away for the leaves.
I must say that I totally love this manicure. It's been a long time since I wore such girly design but I completely loved it! I really hope you do too.
