I honestly don't know why but I am having some serious issues with the Needle Marble technique. It should be real simple and I see so many amazing manis made by this technique, but for some reason I just can't get it right. So I took me a free evening and decided to give this method a try. It did take me quite a while until I was fairly happy with all my nails, but I did it!
Then I applied, one nail at the time, 4 lines of polish using Orly Instant Artist stripers in (from tip of the nail and down) True Blue, Chocolate, True Blue and Blue J, and with a long needle I dragged the polish is quick lines from the tip towards my nail beds. My index nail turned out best and I had to redo at least 2 nails more then once until I was happy with the results, but I am really liking this effect and I will have to practice it some more!
What do you think? Do you like the technique? Did you try it yet? Do you have any tips or tricks for me?

Have you tried barley touching the polish? Like barley there pressure? I hope this helps. I too have had some difficulty with this style.
This looks really cool! The blue almost makes it look like a waterfall :)
I like Essence Walk Of Fame and I like the combination of colours! :-) I tried this technique 2 times, but I really don't have any clever suggestion or trick, I guess that practice makes perfect! :-)
Needle marbling... I tried it once and it was a fail-ish... so I might need to persevere like you!
Lovely! Great color combo :)
I love this!!!! The colors you picked for this are superb!
