Yeah I know it's no longer spring but I still love grey nail polish. And the one I want to show you today is super beautiful! However, I am not sure about the nail art because I think it takes way too much off the beautiful base.
This mani began with two easy-flowing coats of 6 Hart Polish - Spring Rain, a beautiful medium grey with green-gold shimmer and some green-blue-purple shifting pigment that is making it look a tiny bit different in every angle. It applies very easy and smooth, needs only two easy coats for full opacity and dries pretty quick into a smooth thiny finish.
Then I decided to try
THIS gorgeous mani by Michelle at
Things I Love At The Moment so I stamped the hearts over my nails using
Vivid Lacquer plate number VL009 and
MoYou special polish in Black. I filled the hearts with Orly White Crisp nail polish and then painted over the white using
Red Dog Designs Neon Summer Sands polishes. While I love the color and texture and shine of this design, I am a bit sorry for not leaving more empty space to show the gorgeous base polish that I used. But hey, you live and you learn!
