I am looking for a good Nude Creme. This is a very problematic color for me, but it's an excellent base for nail art. While I still did not find my favorite one, I did find a couple that are so close that you might not need them both in your life. So I decided to show them to you. Here are Julep Pippa vs. Rescue Beauty Lounge Opaque Nude. (Index and Ring are Julep Pippa, Middle and Pinky are RBL - Opaque Nude).
As (I hope) you can see, they are not 100% dupe. Julep Pippa has a pinkish base tone while RBL Opaque Nude has a more yellow-ish base. I believe this should make Pippa more suitable for cool toned skin types and RBL suitable better with warm toned skin type. Me being neutral toned - I better just avoid them both LOL.
Application in both requires care and to be honest, I didn't quite like any of the two. Both polishes are on the thick side and if you use a coat too thick, the polish will get streaky and patchy. But try to apply a very thin coat, and the polish will dry before being spread over the entire nail. What I did was thinning them both with about 10-15 drops of nail polish thinner before application (Julep needed less thinning then RBL), and I used 3 relatively thin coats. If you prefer not to thin the polishes, you can surely get away at full opacity with only two coats. But you might find them hard to level.
Please excuse my bad-to-non existing clean-up. These days I really am this sloppy i'm afraid. Time does not allow me the luxury of 30 minutes mani... (excuses, excuses...) But I hope you can over look my mess...

They look the same to me... and their formula seems to be on the sucky side. Nah!
Great comparison! Both of them look beautiful and yes, they are great as nail art base! :-)
They look very close! RBL Opaque Nude is one of my favourite nudes; I find the formula to be pretty much perfect, and as a base for nail art one coat is sufficient :)
