For today's entry in the 33DC I have something a little bit different to show you.
Since the previous entry was Tribal, and since I already had somewhat mexican entry for the Tri Polish Challenge recently, I am getting a little fed up with those natives' patterns. So I decided to google for some other mexican designs.
These are pictograms made for the Olympic Games in Mexico City, 1968. Here's the original image that inspired me:Source |
The polishes I used for my backgrounds, thumb to pinky, are: Bondi - Strawberry Fields and Orly - Wandering Vine, Sinful Colors - Ocean Side (one coat only), Sinful Colors - Big Daddy, Zoya - Louise, Bondi - Brick Road.
Then I freehanded the designs on the nails using Orly Instant Artist's striper in Crisp White.
I'm pretty happy with the final results. Do you think it works right for today's theme?
