Today's mani comes with a sort of mini tutorial. Not that its too clever or anything, but I figured I will show you the order in which I did things. So here's my 4th entry in the 33DC: Tribal.
I started this mani with two coats of Dandy Nails - Bound To Fall, a gray creme base with lots of dark gray or black specks and some awesome iridescent flakies that add the blue-green magic in. It dries to a rather shiny finish and is simply a pleasure to wear. Swatches below show two coats with no top.
I then painted about half - maybe a little less - of my nail with white. I actually tried to use tape but it didn't work too well as you can see... The white I used is Sinful Shine Wisp.
When it was dry, I used my tape again and placed one piece at the border of the white and gray, and another piece covering some white on the end of my nails. The area of white that I left visible, I covered with colors. The colors I used are all Barry M Jellys. From thumb to pinky: Blueberry, Passion Fruit, Papaya, Prickly Pear and Mango. Such yummy fruit salad.
The rest was made with Orly Instant Artist Striper - Jet Black. First horizontally:
And then I just let my hand paint whatever came up. Most lines are pretty much the same, but in different angles. That simple.
So that was my Tribal entry. I hope you like it. And don't forget to check the other entries for today! Have a great day!

Lovely!
I love the colors you used!
Beautiful, I love your tribal manicure! :-) And, I like Bound To Fall very, very much! :-)
I really like them...Tribal is so easy, but with a little twist it can look awesome. I love the color touch in everyone on your nails, it adds the NA that twist I was talking about.
Just today I posted my Tribal NA in my blog, so I'm watching everyone's blogs. I hope you can look to mine too.
A big hug!
Natalia
