Wicked Polish - Black Lung

A rather short post for you tonight as I go to see the final episode of The Vampire Diaries. 

This is Wicked Polish, a new to me brand that I decided to try. I can't say it dropped me off my feet, but it's nice. The polish I have on now is called Black Lung and it's a black and holographic glitter in a black jelly base. 

Application is easy although I did have a small issue with the little hexes being dragged away with every brush stroke. So to keep them on the nail I had to do some dubbing. But this is really not much of a problem because, well, anyway they are hardly seen so I don't see much point in having them at all. The holographic micro glitter is all there. No need to work hard for that.

What you see in the pictures is two coats on all my nails except the middle one. On that I used three coats and as you can see - that third coat make it look so much better. Since I anyway stamped my ring nail and my thumb, I didn't need to do another coat on those, and my pinky is small enough to not make it stand out much. so it's only my index that look a little... weird. But still not un-pretty. 

Drying time is quick and although it may look a bit textured in the photos, those are mostly light reflection. The nail is pretty smooth even without the top coat. In my opinion, this polish may not be the most special around, but I am sure I will be using it again. The stamping is done using Sally Hansen - Carnelian Chrome, from the old Chrome Nail Makeup collection and I used Nailz Craze plate NC03.
