A second post for today. Whdaya know... But I wanted to share with you a new item I just got to try. This is NailNation 3000 cuticle oil.
I actually got this little baby as an added gift with my recent order from NailNation. I was very surprised to get this and it took me a little while to figure what it was, since it wasn't nail polish and I didn't even know Maria of NailNation was making cuticle oil. But a quick look at her new online store solved this mystery for me. So I decided to give it a try. And I totally liked what I saw!
One of the things I really hate is when my nails look shiny wet because of the oil. So I hardly never use any before taking pictures of a new mani. This is why too often my fingers look very dry and my cuticle area is a mess. But this oil absorbed practically in seconds! I applied some around my cuticles and massaged it a little - and that was it. I took these pictures less then one minute after applying the oil, and look - very little shine in the first picture and almost no shine at all in the second.
The polish, if you ask, is Pumpkin Spice by NailNation 3000. But since this post is about the cuticle oil, I will show you this beauty some other time.
Since I did not use this oil for a long time yet, I can't say much about its continuous effect but I think I will be using this oil for a while and if i will have more to report - I will.
There is one issue I would like to mention though. The smell. It's a strong pineapple smell. At first it was very pleasant, but after a while it gets a little annoying because it is so sweet. The main problem is that it made me want candy all the time. If you're sensitive to smells, I think this is not the product for you and I hope NailNation 3000 will produce some oil without smell or with a more subtle one. But if you're ok with smells in general - just make sure you have a jar full of candy next to you - and you're good.
You can find this Pineapple Cuticle Oil in NailNation 3000 store, both in this cute little mini 5ml bottle and in a larger 1oz bottle with a dropper that I plan to try soon!

That polish is soooo pretty!
YAY for shine free moisture! :)
oooh I love pumpkin spice! and no grease at all? that's amazing!
I love any type of cuticle oil so I definitely want to chexk this out! Being pregnant the smell might be an issue since my local grocer is 20 minutes away and now I want fresh pineapple!! Pumpkin Spice is STUNNING!!!
Cuticles are really the most important element to our nails and often times they are overlooked! Great thinking on Maria's part to come up with an oil that is not only good for the health of your nails but also dries fast!!
sounds good! I don't think i'd be a fan of the smell but the non greasy part sounds nice!
This cuticle oil seems perfect! Maybe some strawberry fragrance? :-)
