Dandy Nails - Flamingo Kisses

Finally the end of the week is here. I am completely exhausted but so happy that I actually made it through another hectic week without calling in sick! YAY! 

So today I have a very calm, romantic and very pretty polish to show you by Dandy Nails. This is Flamingo Kisses.

First - the important informative part. Flamingo Kisses was made by Sandy of Dandy Nails in honor of Victoria Leigh Soto, a brave teacher who lost her life while protecting her young students in the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting tragedy. Victoria Soto used to collect flamingos and that is where the inspiration for this beautiful polish came from. 100% of the profits from this polish sales will be donated to the Victoria L. Soto Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Now to the polish. Flamingo Kisses is a cool-toned pink base with tons of magenta and purple flackies. Formula is smooth and easy to apply with no issues at all. Two coats would be enough if your nails are not too long. I used three just in case... But this polish levels itself right from the first coat. Just have a look at the closeup below to see how pretty this polish is! Most of the pictures are without any top coat so you can be impressed by the natural shine of this beauty. Only some of the nail art pictures have one coat of Glisten and Glow HK Girl Top Coat on.

For this nail art I decided to do something soft and romantic and try for the first time those little roses I see all over. I used Illamasqua Collide for my roses and China Glaze Dance Baby and Heli-Yum for the rose lights. The leaves are drawn using Nfu Oh FS20 and Zoya Wednesday. And that's it! I hope you like.
