After ignoring this challenge for so long, I am trying to catch up so you get to see two posts in one week for the Where In The World Challenge. And today we're going to visit The Netherlands.
I have been there twice so far. The first time was some very (very!) long time ago and I hardly remember anything. The second time was just a couple of years ago, and while most of my trip was good, i had to leave with a very bitter taste in my mouth. I won't give you all the gory details but all I can say is that I truly want to believe that there are some nice people living there. Because the ones I met were simply beasts.
And so for my entry I am not going with the tulips and beautiful green landscapes, but with the red lights district, the place for dirt and crime and letting your beastly fantasies roam free.
Ironically, I started this mani with one coat of Zoya America. As you can see, my thumb is not completely leveled and no doubt a second coat would have fixed it, but I just didn't try to make this mani look good. The golden shimmer at the middle of the nails is a few sponge pats with Zoya Annie. I didn't need them anywhere outside my windows so I only used very little of it. The ladies in the windows are stamped from MJ VIII, RA 111 and RA 113 plates. The lady on my index and ring is the same one, but I used this technique to stamp it mirrored. The corset is from MJ VI plate. They are all stamped with MoYou black special polish. Then I painted the windows with BornPretty nail art black pen. I added the curtains deliberately messy and un-even, using Illamasqua Wayword. If any of you is from The Netherlands, I really am sorry for not showing any better side of this lovely country. But I do plan to visit it again one day, and get my last impression fixed!
I hope you liked my entry in the challenge anyway...

Very cool looking mani... And your inspiration made me laugh. Love it!
I suppose that thinking of The Netherlands I would go with the tulips and beautiful green landscapes :-) but I have never been there and these are the first things that come to my mind thinking about this country... and maybe also windmills :-) I guess every country has a good and a bad side, good and bad people, I hope that the next time you will have more luck visiting The Netherlands! :-)
The manicure is really great! :-)
Buahahahaa, I love that you put the red district on your nails!!! I wanted to do a doobie but wanted to be politically correct haha!!! Sorry about your experience in the Netherlands... I was just there passing by through the airport so nothing to speak of really.. I hope you get to go back and a form a good opinion!! :)
Haha your inspiration for this mani is definitely off-beat, but you did a great job with it! I love it! :D
