We're still following :-) The 3rd day of the New 31 Days Challenge features a gold theme. So I used The Nail junkie - Gold Bell, from her gorgeous Holiday Collection and I stamped over it with... surprise: Some gold!
Ok, no excuses here. The gold stamp is not standing out enough on the golden background. But I can't help it! I love mixing different shades of the same kind of color, so I experiment and learn...Anyhoo, I started this mani with Gold bell, a golden creme with gold shimmer that may not be perfect for my skin tone but is still so beautiful and elegant. opaque in two coats, completely self leveling and very unique.
The stamping pattern is from the large DRK-B plate, stamped using China Glaze Passion. As you can see it is really visible only if I bend my nails awkwardly. I should have used a more contrasting color for this stamp, but the gold seemed like the right idea when I did it... Oh well, as I said earlier - experiment and learn.
Hey, don't forget to take a look at other participants entries!
