Oh hello beautiful people! Long time no see (Can you see that I'm trying to buy time?) ;-)
So I'm here again today with the entry of the middle of the New 31 Days Challenge and this time the theme is watercolor. I would also give this mani the infamous title of My Least Favorite... Well, that is probably a huge understatement. I honestly hate this mani today. Even more then my splatter. I don't know, I guess I am just not into the random blobbing techniques.
I started this mani with two coats of Milani - White On The Spot and one coat of The Nail Junkie - SnowFlake. This is a combo that I really love. Why did I mess it up with all those weird spots? I have no idea... just look at this perfection of a polish... (Click to Enlarge!)
I then tried to create nice looking blobs using tiny blobs of polish swapped with a brush dipped in acetone. I used Bourjois - Orange Creation, Sally Hansen - Sun Kissed, Julep - Lily and China Glaze - Bahamian Escape. But as you can see, nothing pretty came out of that...
I even tried to add some green dots to make it look more... I don't know. More something. But it didn't quite work. This mani definitely takes the highest place in my "mani that I hate the most" list. Well, at least it got to a first place in something...
Ok enough with that ugliness. Come back tomorrow to a mani that I do like. Now go see other watercolored manis ;-)

Too funny! I'm not into these manis either ;)
Well, it's colorful. You can call them your Painter's Nightmare nails. I have some major nail art bombs, you should see some of my disastercures. Actually yours aren't that bad, but I agree that the green dots just don't quite make it. Maybe stamping or a shatter polish would have worked? But don't listen to me I'm the Queen of bad manicures.
I love your swatch of "Snowflake"! Beautiful! and very unique nail art! :)
Are you kidding me? I think this is gorgeous! I love the colors you used, they remind me of a tropical island :D
It's Pretty !
Hahahaha! What I love about you is that you post your stuff even if you really dislike it, you're honest. Most of the time you're seing it way worse than it is! It looks interesting. Okay, I'd not wear it every day, but I would probably find an occasion to!
I agree: that combo of whites was perfect though, it's something to keep in mind :)
I like it - sand the green dots that is.
dude, you're effing crazy, that's what you are!!! This mani is fabulous!!!! ok, I agree, maybe the dots was a little bit of overkill, but otherwise I just love how abstract and orangey it is!! so watch out cuz I'll kiss your ass for talking crazy!!!!
