Quite some time ago I did some Jelly-Sandwich without glitter. Just some stamping between two layers of Jelly polish. You can see my
first version and
Second version in the links. But recently, with the release of all the summer Jellies, there were quite a few beautiful "jelly-stampwich" around. One of my favorites was
this mani by my friend Ashley of
Ashley is Polishaddicted. And if you follow me a little, you'd know I have a thing with sea-life manis. So... here is my Aquarium stampwich.
I started this mani with two coats of Chic - Fashion Yachts, a light blue-turquoise creme. Then I stamped some fishies using several different colors and several different plates.I also free-hand-drew some green veggies around. When it was dry, I applied two coat of China Glaze Isle See You Later, a very thin teal jelly polish from the Sunsational collection. I then stamped again some fish and drew some veggies completely random. Then I applied one coat of New York Summer Hot Baby Blue jelly, which is much more opaque then the China Glaze. Unfortunately, it made quite a lot of my first stamping layer dissapear, but if you look closely you can still see the 3D look in there. So is it summer already?
What do you think? Do you feel the Stampwich trend is Yay or Nay?

I love jelly finishes and stamping too, so it's a yay for me!
Stampwich... I just understood the name! Hahaha how funny! ^^ Yay for me, it gives a deeper effect, which is always useful when picturing an aquarium ;)
