Boo.... Halloween is over already. That was too fast in my opinion!
So November 1st begins with a really nice theme for the 33DC: featuring two patterns.
I started this mani with two coats of Bondi Teal Magnolia, previously swatched here. Then I added some stripes, using tape this time, with Bondi Tavern On The, which I haven't yet swatched, and I got my first pattern.
Over the stripes I stamped some circles using Cheeky Jumbo B plate with BarryM Silver Foil Effect nail polish. I was suggested by the amazing Queen of stamping, my friend Laurie, to use perhaps a darker polish for the stamping. Something like a gun metal gray perhaps. But I just did not have such color for stamping. Perhaps I will try this again when I do have the proper color, because I do feel that the silver is slightly too bright.
Lovely!
ReplyDeleteThis just became my favorite mani you have ever done! I love this!
ReplyDeleteLove this! That silver really pops over the teals. <3
ReplyDeleteI like Teal Magnolia and I love the final effect of two patterns! I don't have the impression that the silver was too bright, looks really good, but of course if you find some darker stamping grey I'd like to see some similar manicure! :-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous manicure! I love every bit of it, you got such a sharp design, I don't think the silver is too bright either. It all depends on the effect you want to achieve I guess :)
